A crazy couple days.

It's been a busy couple of days. Here are some pictures and explanations of what we've been up to.
We drove to Idaho for Baby Brooklyn's blessing. Here she is with her parents George and Urasia looking all cute in white.

Carter AKA Captain Destructo with their leap frog letter magnets. Now I know what to get him for Christmas!

Carter didn't cry when I held Brooklyn this time so that's a good sign.

This is Carter ready for church on Sunday. Dave thinks he looks like a poker player in Monte Carlo.

A dress I NEVER thought would fit me again!

I had to put this on here. This is Carter's new thing. It doesn't matter where we are or whether or not the missionaries are at the door, he's decided that what ever I'm hiding down my shirt should be shown to everyone around. Luckily in this picture he was being greedy and just wanted to look for himself. It's not like he's still nursing or anything. I don't get it...

When we got home from Church on Sunday we called Dave's parents to see how their drive home was going and found out they were in a car accident and were in the Elko hospital. Luckily or unluckily, Richard needed to be checked by a neurosurgeon for a possible hematoma on his brain and the closest one was in Salt Lake so they were flown out here. We are very grateful they are ok and that they are here where we can see them.
As a result of the accident Richard had to get a lot of stitches on the top of his head which required a nice new hair cut. He was a little worried about this haircut so Dave, Carter and I decided his early father's day present would be a nice hat that he could wear to work and church. We ended up buying him one just like Carter's so of course Carter had to wear his today. I am excited to take pictures of them in them together!

Because we were out doing errands today and making sure Richard and Joy had everything they would need we had to get Carter lunch at the mall. It looks like he's enjoying it more than he actually did. Who knew I would end up with the kid that would prefer a home cooked meal to a slice of "New York" pizza!

Carter needed to be entertained so we let him watch his 1-2-3's movie. Here he is sitting in his big boy chair and watching the Triops.

Mommy wasn't feeling good so we cuddled for some of the movie.

Can you believe how crazy this month has been? I'm ready for things to go back to normal! No more trips to the hospital!
