Cornbelly's!

We went to Cornbelly's today with Noelle, Abby, Jeff, Rachelle, Lucas, Rebecca (Rachelle's sister and Carter's new best friend) and her boyfriend Derek. It was SO much more fun now that Carter can enjoy it and boy did he enjoy it! Look at his face in the pictures (sorry there are so many of them) and you will see one happy boy!

Dave and Abby were pumping water to get there rubber ducks to move. You don't see Abby's in this picture because she was so far ahead of Dave!

On the way to Cornbelly's we heard Carter in the back going "Chugga Chugga" and sure enough we looked over and saw a train! You can tell by his face that trains are his favorite right now.

Carter actually helped us pick the pumpkins this year!

He kept drumming on all the pumpkins and when I took my eyes off of him for a second and then looked back he was using one as a seat and one as a drum. Dave and I had been discussing what instrument we wanted to give him his first lessons in and he definitely has tendencies towards the drums... Just wish they were more quiet!

At least he knows what he wants...

Since the Philpott family is under the weather Carter is spending the day with Auntie Chelle and her sister Becca. For the past 3 weeks he has not been sleeping well which is odd because he is normally a great sleeper. Last night he only got about 5 or 6 hours of sleep so I knew he would take a good nap. When Rachelle went to take a shower and Carter and Lucas were hanging out with Becca, Carter walked up to his stuff grabbed his blanket, said "night night" and laid down on top of his blanket in the middle of the living room. Hey, at least he's napping!

Babies, Baseballs, Birds and big boys!

I have a lot of pictures I haven't blogged so I'm catching up.

Carter's babies (as he calls them) Jazzy and Ferguson. I realised what a big boy he was when I told Noelle to ask him if he wanted to take Jazzy upstairs because he would understand.

Carter loves his ear muffs. He always wants me to put them on him and he runs around the house in them.

We went to the aviary with Auntie Chelle, Dorsey and her baby Christian. I wanted to see how Carter measured up to the birds. He was half way between a flamingo...

Carter obviously didn't want to be in his stroller...

Today was Carter's first official day of nursery and he did better than expected. I stayed for about 15 minutes and tried to leave once but he started crying. About a minute later he was distracted with a puzzle and I snuck out the other door. I am grateful Isaiah is in nursery with him for the next few months, however trying to get a picture of the 2 of them was interesting...
