At the hospital.

Before you freak out we are ok, but Carter has a fever which caused him to have a seizure which the paramedics and the nurses say are totally normal. This has been the scariest day of my life and also my first ambulance ride. We will keep you all updated just know he's going to be ok.

how sad and scary. even when you know its normal, its so hard not to freak out when something happens to your kids.

I'm SO glad we didn't try to walk in the heat later in the day then- hopefully the walk didn't spur the fever! I remember you saying he was a bit complacent...
