Happy BIRD day!

We decided to take a family day and go to the Tracy Aviary. It costs only $5 per person ($4 for students) to get in and it was WELL worth the money! We saw tons of different kinds of birds and they even had peacocks just walking around the grounds. My favorite was the Bald Eagle and Dave liked the flamingos. Of course we took tons of pictures... not many of us though, and here are some of our favorites.

Also, here are some pictures of Carter and his new friend Hairy. Yes, it's a spider and I hate spiders, but he loves him because of the way he lays across him and because his legs are easy to grab onto (and that's why I got it.)

Flamingos AND peacocks?!?! I am SO there! My two favorite birds. Plus, $5 is cheap.

I love these pictures and what a fun day!! What did Carter think of all the birds? Those pix of him with "Harry" are adorable even though spiders creep me out big time. I literally shuddered to think of a spider that big on my grandson!! OOOOOOOOOH!!
