Family day 4

Take 1:
Yesterday we went to Gardner Village for family day. I should've checked the schedule because the place was packed for "Wee witches weekend". Probably would've been fun if we had planned to go for that but showing up and barely being able to move because there were so many people everywhere was not fun. We left and decided to postpone family day until the next day.

Take 2:
Today for family day we drove the Alpine loop. We decided it would be a nice nap for Carter and a fun thing for us and we were right. We got Carter good and tired, buckled him into his car seat and took off. He slept most of the time and woke up happy and talking away. I've decided that the Alpine loop is on my list for most beautiful places I've ever been (also on the list is the Palace of Fine Arts in SF.) Some of the pictures were blurry since we were driving, but here is our day:
Some juice for the drive
Our view for the beginning of the loop
Why it made my list
We got "pulled over" by a bike cop because there was some sort of motorcycle procession going on. We sat on the side of the road for probably about 10 minutes while seriously about 100 motorcycles went by including more bike cops. No exaggeration.
The mountains
awake and happy

Back to sleep...

Happy to be getting a diaper change in the trunk!

And that was our family day. It was really fun and it was so nice outside.

Also, another one of my pages made it to the How Fast They Grow gallery, hooray!
